Fysouni

Unlike most of the mainland dances which are slow with dragging steps, Fysouni is a fast dance with jumping steps. A characteristic of this dance is the movement of the head right and left when the legs are crossed right and left respectively.
According to one version, it took its name from a wind that blew in this area and that the melody must have come from Constantinople (Istanbul).
