Sympethera / Ikariotikos

A dance, which took its name from the island of Ikaria, where it is considered the main traditional dance of the island. The Symphethera dance precedes. It is danced mixed (men and women). The locals dance the slow Ikariotiko, as there is also the faster one, which is its modernized version, which they do not embrace.
